OUR LEGACY
In 1978, Paul M Kennedy opened a small surveying office in Footscray with a simple philosophy: deliver exceptional work, treat clients with respect, and stand behind every survey with personal integrity.
That philosophy built a reputation. Architects and builders began recommending PM Kennedy to colleagues. Developers trusted us with their most complex projects. Local councils came to know our work as reliable and thorough.
Today, Kathryn Kennedy leads the practice her father built, carrying forward those foundational values while embracing innovation. What started as a humble practice has become a trusted consultancy sought by property and development professionals for our accuracy, professionalism and insight - the name clients turn to when certainty matters most.
We remain deliberately boutique, because the best work comes from senior experts who know your project inside and out. Every client gets direct access to decision makers. Every survey reflects our commitment to precision, partnership, and integrity.
OUR JOURNEY
1978
Paul M. Kennedy establishes the firm in Footscray, laying the foundation for a trusted, client-focused surveying practice.
1985
Laverton office opens, strengthening our presence across Melbourne’s western suburbs.
2000
GPS technology introduced, improving survey accuracy and efficiency.
2004
PM Kennedy joins Consulting Surveyors Victoria, reflecting our commitment to professional excellence and industry best
2008
Kathryn Kennedy is appointed CEO, marking the transition to second-generation leadership.
Office relocates to Point Cook to support continued growth.
2010
Becomes an early adopter of Victoria’s SPEAR platform, digitising and streamlining subdivision delivery.
2013
Becomes an early adopter of ePlan, producing digital survey and administrative data to support plan registration with Land Victoria.
2016
3D Scanning and Reality Capture services launched, bringing advanced digital insight to projects.
2021
Geelong office opens, expanding our presence into regional Victoria.
Scoresby office opens, extending our services across Melbourne’s east, the Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland.
2023
PM Kennedy celebrates 45 years in business, built on quality, trust and enduring client relationships.
2025
PM Kennedy surpasses 40,000 completed projects, reflecting decades of trusted service.
2026

Managing Director
Kathryn’s leadership style is grounded in a simple philosophy: lead, inspire, enable growth. She believes in setting a clear vision, aligning people around it and building a business that is always looking ahead. Her focus is on challenging convention, raising standards and creating the conditions for people, ideas and the business to grow.
She is passionate about building a progressive, values-led organisation that combines deep expertise with fresh thinking and continues to shape what clients should expect from a modern surveying consultancy.
With a Bachelor of Business and Diploma of Building and Construction, Kathryn combines strategic thinking with practical industry experience, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset to the way PM Kennedy grows, evolves and creates value for its clients.
Fun fact: Kathryn has a hard time sitting still for long. There’s usually a new challenge, adventure or experience on the horizon.

Leads PM Kennedy with over 25 years of surveying experience, continuing the legacy established by her father.
Survey Manager | Licensed Surveyor
With over 30 years of experience, Mark is the technical anchor of the PM Kennedy team. Since graduating in the 90s, he has covered vast ground, quite literally, working across Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia on everything from major infrastructure to complex engineering projects.
As Survey Manager, he does more than just oversee the team, he mentors them. Mark is the driving force behind the team's culture of "thorough thinking."
Fun fact: When he isn't calibrating the team's approach to complex surveys, Mark is usually trying to calibrate his swing on the golf course.

With an impressive career spanning more than 40 years, Rob Signorini brings a level of wisdom and depth to PM Kennedy that only comes from a lifetime in the game.
His technical superpower lies in solving the "puzzle" of complex surveys, specifically Title Amendments and building subdivisions with multiple Owners Corporations.
Fun fact: Rob is an avid student of surveying history and collects antique theodolites, proving that for him, survey is a life time passion.

After more than 12 years with PM Kennedy, Krystyna brings warmth, energy and a deep understanding of the business to her role as Operations Manager. An integral part of our Leadership Team, she understands our clients, their projects and our people, and is passionate about creating a positive, seamless experience at every touchpoint.
Drawing on extensive experience in project management and subdivision, Krys excels at bringing people together, anticipating issues and finding practical solutions before they become problems. Known for her clear communication, responsiveness and calm, solutions-focused approach, she builds strong, lasting client relationships while continually looking for smarter, more streamlined ways to keep projects moving, support the team and ensure PM Kennedy operates at its best.

Harry Nguyen sits at the unique intersection of technical precision and creative storytelling. With nearly a decade in the industry, Harry’s journey began as a field surveyor before his passion for technology led him towards the cutting edge of spatial data.
As the Reality Capture Team Lead, Harry is the driving force behind PM Kennedy's adoption of new technologies.
Fun fact: Harry's love for capturing the world extends far beyond laser scanning. Outside of work, he is a talented wedding filmmaker and street photographer.

Survey Drafting Coordinator
Shae Danskin is the spark in the PM Kennedy engine. Since joining the team in 2018, she has become a key part of the drafting team, combining strong technical drafting skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and keep work moving efficiently.
Shae also has strong experience across subdivision drafting and feature plan production, where she enjoys the variety of different site layouts and the process of bringing detailed survey information together into a finished plan. Her broader background in AutoCAD, GIS and spatial data supports a practical, well rounded understanding of how survey information is captured, processed and presented.
Fun fact: Shae is a true creative "maker." When she isn't drafting, she's building her own furniture, making terrariums, or baking new recipes.
